Job Description

Job purpose:

This role is a critical member of Health Dialog's Sales Team and primarily focused on:

  • Assisting remote Sales executives by providing them with appropriate leads, data, tools, reports, and insights necessary to help execute on their sales plans
  • Aligning our customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to business objectives
  • Achieving sales targets for “fast track” new business by developing value-added solutions to clients using a professional, consultative approach

Accountabilities and Activities:

  • Develop an accurate and complete view of clients/prospects/influencers and related activities
  • Continually review market and customer data to optimize sales and marketing programs and provide ongoing reporting
  • Create, execute, track, and refine sales/marketing campaigns across all channels: phone, mail, email, and social media
  • Maintain current and accurate information relating to the sales pipeline
  • Assist as needed with booth presence and discussion at trade shows and industry events.
  • Continuously improves quality of CRM (Salesforce) data and functionality/usability of the user interface
  • Support Sales and other company executives on the use of
  • Research customer and prospect base for opportunities
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Health Dialog offerings including features and benefits, market position, competitive products, marketing activities, pricing, etc.
  • Coordinating and organizing the logistics for sales meetings including team prep and meeting follow-ups
  • Continually seeks opportunities to convert sales opportunities to actual sales

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

  • At least 1.5 years of experience as a member of a sales and/or marketing team, including but not limited to sales operations, direct sales or marketing/communications
  • Be an evangelist for the company and its products
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and superior phone skills
  • Energized and persistent in the pursuit of goals
  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, with a strong academic record
  • Passion for developing the usability and business application of customer data to drive sales
  • An understanding of and detail orientation toward database management (Salesforce)
  • A bias toward collaboration - enjoy working in teams with a variety of different work-styles and personalities
  • Enjoys searching for ways to apply technology to solve personal or business problems
  • Interest in healthcare improvement mission
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
