Job Skills / Requirements
This position will be responsible to ensure proper matching of purchasing and receiving documents, proper distribution to general ledger expense accounts, timely and accurate payments that make full use of available discounts, and proper filing and storage of records.

Responsibilities - Accounts Payable
• Ensure that invoices are approved by appropriate manager and compare to purchase orders
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Manage payables for multiple entities
• Record invoices and payments within the correct account and processing period
• Validate pricing is correct
• Prepare payment on-time and accurately to avoid late or delinquent payment
• 1099's
• Data Entry
• Filing and Copying
• Complete special projects as needed

Knowledge and Skills
• Knowledge of Yardi or other Property Accounting Software a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Time management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented in nature
• Open and clear communication skills both verbal & written
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to collaborate across department boundaries and work effectively in a team environment
• Standard office administrative practices and procedures, including the use of standard office equipment
• Commitment to extra effort to complete projects when due
• Able to work in a fast past environment

Experience & Education Requirements
• A minimum of 3+ years' experience in Accounts Payable
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
