JOB SUMMARY:

Provideadministrationandsupportforalldepartmentalanddepartment-supported applications, servers, and printers. Plan, install, upgrade, and manage information technology infrastructure to satisfy customers' contractual requirements to provide server access, system availability, and system performance in a mission-critical networkenvironment.
JOB DUTIES:

30% - Essential - SOFTWARESUPPORT:
Install,upgrade,andsupportallMITSapplications,includinganytasksrelated to legacy systems.

25% - Essential - TECHNICALSUPPORT
Installandupgradecomputerequipment,includingnetworkservers,printers,PC's,andotherequipmentforthedepartmentanditscustomers.Installandupgradeoperatingsystems,email,web,connectivity,andapplicationsoftwareondesktopcomputers.

25% - Essential - WORKSTATIONSUPPORT
Provideadministrationandsupportforalldepartmentalanddepartment-supportedworkstationsandperipherals.Coordinatewithsecuritygroupconcerningworkstationsecurityforcompliancewithsecurityobjectives.

15% - Essential - CUSTOMERSUPPORT
Handlecustomersupportforastatehelpdeskwithvisibilityfrompublichealthcareentities.

5% - Essential - ON-CALLSUPPORT
Provideafter-hoursandon-callsupportforvariousaspectsofMITSandInfoSecsupport.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related area is highly preferred.
