SIU School of Medicine is seeking an individual to provide operational support for community based population science research development activities for the Office of Population Science and Policy (OPSP) and its affiliated faculty. This position supports research projects in central and southern IL and may require a significant amount of travel (including possible 1-night overnight stays twice per month in southern IL). This position is anticipated to be based in the Springfield area.
Minimum requirement is Bachelor’s Degree in an area relevant to the position. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of the policies and the guidelines that govern human subject research; strong interpersonal skills necessary to maintain cooperative working relationships; strong organizational and analytical skills; computer skills and proficiency in various software packages. Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
