The University of Nevada, Reno, Cooperative Extension is recruiting for a full-time Coordinator, Early Childhood Assessment in Las Vegas, NV. This position is contingent upon funding and does not afford layoff rights. The Coordinator for Early Childhood Assessment is responsible for evaluating programs related to early childhood education, including programming participating in the Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS). The positions teach child care provider trainings to multiple groups during the year. The incumbent will conduct observations of early childhood classrooms using different assessments and obtain and maintain reliability on the assessments. The incumbent will serve as a resource and liaison between Cooperative Extension and community early childhood programs. The Coordinator is responsible for conducting high level audit work and requires a high reliability rating on assessments. The position will be responsible for administrative tasks such as data entry, analysis, report writing and completing evaluations and other reports.
