Philadelphia, PA Northeast – Logistics Full-time

CSA is seeking an entry-level Logistics Analyst to provide direct support to our government client in Philadelphia, PA.

The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for assisting with processes and management of transactional documents coming into our client's ERP system. This is a challenging entry-level position for a candidate driven to learn and succeed in the area of supply chain management, including: process improvement, process efficiency, and the tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of existing and new systems and processes.

Job Duties
    • Assists with identifying areas for process improvement and cost savings to ensure expectations are met
    • Collaborates with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes
    • Responsible for preparing statistical data for briefs, reports and presentations
    • Provides analysis and statistical information on tracking product shipments, returns, and inventory
    • Maintains schedules and quality of deliverables with minimal oversight or rework of deliverables

Basic Qualifications
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external organizations and activities
    • Strong analytical and teaming skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications
    • Expertise in recommending innovative solutions to business and technical issues that shall assist in the enhancement of ERP and interfacing systems program performance
    • Knowledge of Commercial Supply Chain; hold an understanding of shipping and receiving material
    • Knowledge of DoD logistics, the Navy Supply System and the Navy's process of monitoring material: recording issues, receipts, condition code changes, un-reconciled balances, contract data and material movement transactions
    • Navy Financial Experience
    • Prior Military service or experience working with military populations
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
