Job Description:

This role requires designing, developing, implementing and delivering Qlik Sense Applications to support business needs. The candidate needs to collaborate with business and IT to identify key business requirements. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in visual design and development with BI reporting tools.


  • Interact with business stakeholders / partners to understand their business and reporting needs, including critical metrics and KPIs
  • Need to collaboratively work in a team based environment
  • Transform business requirements & wireframes into a guided analytics prototype to provide business and data insights
  • Design, develop and QA Qlik Sense Applications integrating reporting components from multiple data sources
  • Work closely with BI team to provide input on appropriate solutions to meet business requirements and are consistent with current reporting standards and processes
  • Train the business how to utilize the Qlik Applications
  • QA Automation

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2 to 7 years of IT development experience in one or more BI Reporting Tools (Qlik, Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects, OBIEE, etc.)
  • Experience in developing BI Solutions supporting financial, sales, and supply chain performance reporting
  • Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
  • Experience in data modeling
  • Experience in data cleansing and data transformation activities
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
  • Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries
  • Exposure in integrating Big Data platforms
  • Understanding of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to design, develop, and enhance Qlik extensions
