Information Management (IM) – Provide IM support services to the PEO USC Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO)/Chief Information Officer (CIO). These support services include:
- PEO USC internal management and technical issues and actions as well as external liaison and support between PEO USC, the NAVSEA CIO, the DON CIO, and other related external organizations, as required.
- Information Technology (IT) – Provide tiered IT support for programs and employees to include tasks such as IT system setup, basic troubleshooting and problem resolution coordination with IT help-desk. Provide liaison, technical and management support to effectively provide support for the NIPRNet and SIPRNet equipment and facilities employed by PEO USC whether these are through the Navy & Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) or follow-on system by identifying, troubleshooting, escalating, and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity end-user issues. Provide IT network resource management support to end user by maintaining authorized access to IT network resources. Designation as the Activity Network Administrator alternate for the Activity network shared drive, including the management of applicable security groups and permissions; adherence to applicable NAVSEA processes and instructions; and conducting periodic data archiving and restructuring.
- Information Systems (IS) – Support IS management initiatives such as developing and maintaining tools, databases, and web sites. Scheduling, setup and management of conference room IT and VTC systems. Knowledge of Windows, MS Office Suite, MS Outlook and iOS operating systems.
A minimum of one year related experience is required. Associates degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline is required. Bachelors degree is preferred.
Experience working for the Department of Defense (DoD) as well as experience in a fast-paced, professional customer service environment supporting a wide range of users which include Flag Officers, SESs, and Front Office Executives. Experience with the NMCI-NGEN environment and its processes, guidance, and instructions.
One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A SECRET Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
