WHAT YOU DOThe primary responsibilities of this position are to manage and facilitate a successful training process for New Store Openings (NSO). The NSO Coordinator will work closely with the Area Manager and Culinary Department to ensure all new Team Members are receiving consistent, organized, and accurate training.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for overseeing the training execution of New Store OpeningsChampion training programs and materials in collaboration with the Training Department to optimize knowledge, skill, and abilities new store opening teamsWorks hands on with the training Team to ensure training standards and being executed during daily training sessionsWorks to develop the TrainersCollaborates with field Operations Team including Area Managers, Beverage Department, and Culinary Department to plan specifics to the NSOPromote a fun and positive work environment with a strong focus on side-by-side instruction and development Act as a brand ambassador for the company and provide communication through various mediums with a skilled ability to connect the company vision with the communities we serveWorks with opening Leadership Team to ensure they have all the support needed for successful hiring/opening (NSO Manual)Works with Area Manager and Culinary Department to select Training TeamCoordinates travel, per diems, any specific procedures for opening TeamResponsible for pre-opening Training related expenses Checks in with Opening Leaders & AM on hiring progress each week leading up to the NSOWorks with HR to ensure all new Team Members are getting onboarded appropriatelyWorks with AM and store Leaders to ensure that hiring standards of the Company are met Training ProcessEnsures Orientation is set up for NSO & training schedules have been distributedConducts Train the Trainer before training begins with the full opening teamCollaborates with Area Manager and NSO Leaders to ensure all items are available for the opening (smallwares orders, marketing orders, etc.)Works with Training Team, Leaders, and AM to set up store with smallwares, operational tools, any food prep, and get the restaurant ready for training to beginCollaborates with AM and Culinary to set pace for Trainers, review upcoming events, provides feedback before during and after the shift on performanceEnsures readiness for all daily training days and timelinesReviews staffing concerns with AM and Culinary TeamWorks with Accounting to provide accurate budget accruals and allocations for pre-opening expenses in a timely mannerWorks with Content Manager to create updates as neededSupports NSO post opening until staffing and training needs are met and fulfilled Coordinates any supplemental training that needs to occur based on needs of the store.Collaborates with AM for continued training of any new Leaders Post-OpeningWorks volume based shifts determined by needs of the NSOManages the Training Team schedules and communicates appropriately to the Leader ContingencyCreates alternative/contingency plans based on volume or needs of the NSO including additional trainers and travelWorks with AM to execute any approved plansEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONThe position requires 1-3 years in a multi-unit Training Role or equivalent experience. Must have experience working in a coordinator capacity for New Store openings. Internal candidates must be in good standing and free of performance issues within 1-year time-period.
