This position is located in the CMS Bargersville, IN office location. get. Responsibilities: §  Create and/or edit submittal register to ensure submittal requirements are appropriate for the project; work with the PM to clarify with the client applicable project submittals§  Create and/or coordinate all pre-construction submittals§  Generate all final project submittal correspondence for PM or QC approval (i.e. Eng 4025 forms, etc.)§  Generate/Create a Superintendent Startup Binder including but not limited to:An initial project takeoffAn initial project schedule and task matrixApproved project submittals§  Populate project tracking and control documents§  Submittal Tracking follow up with material/equipment vendors and subcontractors on project deliverables ensuring compliance with contract specifications; including but not limited to submittal tracking, product data and project closeout documents§  Generate and track RFI’s§  Coordinate, file and update project schedules and daily reports§  Generate project closeout documents & files ensuring contract requirement compliance§  Complete DD1354 forms (transfer of ownership)§  Assist project superintendents with project control documentation as needed§  Compose and/or edit letters, communication and reports as assigned§  Oversee and/or process project related documents (i.e. prepare purchase requisitions, daily field reports, schedule updates, photo documentations, collect vendor/sub contract quotes, etc.);§  Assist in creating and tracking all project related documentsJob Requirements: §  A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Engineering and 3-4 years related experience; or an Associate’s degree in Construction Management/Engineering and a minimum of 5 - 6 years of related experience; or a High School diploma and a minimum of 8 years of related experience.§  Specific knowledge/experience in a construction related trade is desired - field experience is a definite plus§  Past experience in government construction is desirable§  Ability to develop schedules, procedures, project plans and understand specifications is required§  Ability to assume responsibility, achieve assigned goals, and work effectively with others §  Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing is required§  Excellent interpersonal skills are essential§  Proficient in Microsoft Office§  Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 is a plus§  Demonstrates ability to work independently§  Regularly required to drive on company business and be available for travel (up to 25%)  CMS is an equal opportunity, minority/female/veteran/disabled employerCMS participates in E-VerifyCMS is a drug and alcohol free workplace
