CMS Corporation is seeking a QC Manager. This position will initially be located on our project at the Marine Corps Base, Kaneohe Bay. The QCM is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and documenting the quality control program construction project as well as identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, client relationships, and customer service as they relate to the quality management system. ResponsibilitiesPromote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the projectOversee the implementation of project specific construction Quality Plans at job locationsPerform project site audits to ensure adherence to company SOPs/policies, project plans and specifications, and confirm as built drawing completionsLead quality investigations on project issues as they arise at construction projectsDocument construction quality control through the project and maintain reporting requirements including photo documentation and written reportsGather and maintain Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) submittals for applicable projectsLead the communications on customer concerns regarding construction quality and coordinate appropriate adjustments with applicable CMS Construction and Management teamsCoordinates subcontractor and other trade quality control membersJob Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction/Science,Engineering, Architecture, or Engineering Technology requiredFive (5) years of combined experience as a QC Manager, Superintendent, Project Manager, or Project Engineer on construction contracts with at least two years as a QC ManagerUSACE Construction Quality Management class for Contractors (QCM) with-in past 5 yearsFamiliar with requirements of USACE EM 385-1-1 and experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety complianceKnowledge of construction related technologies, quality activities and quality auditing.Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings, specifications, and applicable technical instructions, plans and reportsFamiliar with a variety of field concepts, practices and proceduresMust have valid driver’s license and be insurable on company’s auto insurance policy CMS is an equal opportunity, minority/female/veteran/disabled employerCMS participates in E-VerifyCMS is a drug and alcohol free workplace No relocation is offered for this position.
