We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Global Accounts based in New York. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to; the management of 1-3 Global Account Managers, implementation of corporate initiatives, development and management of budgetary constraints, development and maintenance of client relationships. Other responsibilities include: Effectively manage Global Account Managers who report to this position including hiring, firing, coaching, training, and managing conflict. Meets assigned major account targets, sales quotas, and individual performance objectives for a specific list of designated accounts. May lead the project management team assigned to specific Global Accounts in order to successfully complete end user projects. This lead will be completed with input from assigned dealer(s), Mt Laurel Project Manager and all other sales and operational inputs. Identifies, prioritizes, and strategize on key high potential major accounts. Coordinates support of major accounts and monitors all activities within those assigned accounts and relates this information to the customer and within Teknion. Develops and executes unified collaborative account marketing plans with Regional Managers and District Managers to achieve maximum account penetration within assigned accounts. Assists the field sales organization in maximizing sales at the local level of assigned major accounts and developing large national prospects. Travels to customers and prospective customers to make sales presentations and sell Teknion products. Acts as liaison between the customer and Teknion in problem solving reactive to high quality service coordination for the assigned accounts.
